Veterans’ Day Ceremony and Fireworks

Please join Mayor Sam Morris and the Township Council for our Veteran’s Day Celebration.  We will be the dedicating and opening our new Veteran’s and First Responders Honor Center.  The Center is located between Town Hall and the Civic Center by the Gazebo.

The Veteran’s Day Ceremony will be held at the new Veterans’ Honor Center at 4 PM on Saturday November 7th.  (Rain Date is Sunday, November 8, same location and time.)

The new center was created to have a more substantial place to honor our Veterans who served and protect our freedom and to thank our First Responders who keep us safe.

We have created new granite markers for the 3 bronze plaques that used to be at Town Hall.  We had all the bronze re-polished and restored and it will all be hung on new granite markers.  The Gazebo has been refurbished as part of an Eagle Scout project as well.

Special Guests for the occasion will be Picatinny Arsenal Chief of Staff, Colonel Scott Turner and his wife Lisa;  Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ 7th) and Assemblyman Anthony M. Bucco, (NJ 25th).

The dedication and ceremony will be followed by a fireworks show at dark.

Please bring some lawn chairs or a blanket and come join us for the services and fireworks.
