Mine Hill Events are put together by the Mine Hill Community Committee is comprised of a group of volunteers that creates and manages town wide events in collaboration with the Township and Community Programs Department.

Shred It Day
May 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM
Documents Securely and Safely. Please click HERE for more information. Come bring any and all of your paperwork/documents to be confidentially shredded. There is no need to remove any staples, clips, binders or books. They cannot shred cardboard boxes.
The company shredding is National Association for Information Destruction Certified. Residents may bring whatever they want to shred as long as they bring non-perishable, non-expired food items to be donated to the food pantry.

Town Wide Garage Sale
Date June 10-12
Registration Deadline is June 9th at 4:30 PM.
The Township is hosting a Town Wide Yard Sale Event. We recommend the hours of 8 AM – 5 PM. The list will be publicized. Permit requirements and fees are waived, but you must sign up.
To access the List of Addresses participating in the garage sale will be sent via swiftreach and posted on the township’s main page under “Township Announcements” On the page you have the option of customizing the map to see which addresses are participating in the garage sale by checking off or un-checking off the box to the left of the date. The drop down arrow also provides a list of all the houses associated with the blue pins. You can print the map by clicking on the 3 dots in a vertical row to the right of the magnify glass and click “print map”.

A 50+ participant parade on Randolph Avenue, West Randolph Avenue, Canfield Avenue to Fireman’s Field. Parade featuring the Bat Mobile, Denville String Band, Bloomingdale Cornet Band, Harmony Senior Drum Core, Classic Cars, Fire Apparatus, Local Clubs & Organizations, Dignitaries, Police Departments, First Aid Ambulance and more!
2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Celebration
After the parade join us for a celebration from 2:00pm to 9:00pm at Fireman’s Field for:*Food Trucks- Jersey Girl Pickles, Troop 64 selling hot dogs and hamburgers, Truffles n Thyme- Gourmet Grilled Cheese, NJ Bar and Grill- NJ Rolls and Pizza, Cinders- Italian Specialty Sandwiches, Empanadas*Inflatables, 40 Foot Inflatable Obstacle Course, Trackless Train, Double Lane Slide, Wrecking Ball, Mechanical Bull, Fun House Bounce, Hippo Chow Down, Melt Down, Paw Patrol Bounce, Speed Pitch. Santa’s Mailbox is open and available anytime to drop off your letter. Santa will write back to you only if you include a return address.
Soup Sampler & Holiday Display/Tree Lighting
Friday December 1st from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Canfield Avenue School. Admission is $10.00 per adult, $5.00 children under 5 years old. Bring a coat in good condition to donate, and you get free soup. A special visitor will be visiting at 7:30PM and lead us to the tree lighting at Memorial Park on Baker Street.
Breakfast with Santa
December 9th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Community Center. This is a pay in advance event. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon and home fries. Please sign up no later than 12/4/23. Admission is $10.00 for an Adult and $7.00 for children under the age of 7. Santa will arrive for pictures from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. To sign up for the breakfast please go to this link:
Santa Comes to Town
December 16th and 17th
Santa comes to town. Santa will make his trip around to all the good children of Mine Hill this year. For route information stay tuned to updates on RAVE.
