MARRIAGE/CIVIL UNION LICENSE APPLICATIONS

The first step is to select an Officiant. An Officiant is the person who performs the actual marriage ceremony. Once you have confirmed both the Officiant and the date of the ceremony, you must schedule an appointment with the Town’s Clerk’s Office to apply for your Marriage License.

*** PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE.*** Your appointment to file your marriage license application should be made 3 to 4 weeks prior to the date of marriage, but no less than 2 weeks before the date of marriage to avoid last minute conflicts.

If you are a resident of Mine Hill Township, or if you are a resident of another State and wish to have your marriage/civil union performed within the Township, you will need to contact the Municipal Clerk’s/Registrar’s Office. You may contact Registrar Marcie Istvan at Clerk@MineHill.com phone: 862-437-1190 or Deputy Registrar Karen Pirrello at Construction@minehill.com phone: 862-437-1202.

*** IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK OR UNDERSTAND ENLGISH YOU MUST HAVE A TRANSLATOR AVAILABLE DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS.***
