Township Advisory 01/21/2014 12:00 PM January 21, 2014 Town Hall will be closing early today due to the weather. Reminder: DO NOT park on the streets when they are snow or ice covered. The police WILL issue summons’ and you will get a fine in court if you park on the streets during snow and ice events. We do not want anyone fined, but it’s the law. Parking on the streets when during these times makes it very difficult for the DPW to plow and keep the streets safe and clear for ambulances etc. Reminder: sidewalks must be shoveled within 24 hours of the end of snowfall. The entire sidewalk must be cleared, not just a small patch. We are going to be dropping into another polar vortex deep-freeze. Please check on your neighbors and bring in animals overnight. It’s going to be too cold for animals to be outside. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and stay safe.
