The term “Vital Statistics” applies to matters of Birth, Marriage/Civil Union, and Death.  The Municipal Clerk, as Registrar of Vital Statistics, can assist residents with the following:

Marriage/Civil Union License Applications

If you are a resident of Mine Hill Township, or if you are a resident of another State and wish to have your marriage/civil union performed within the Township, you will need to visit the Municipal Clerk’s Office a minimum of 72 hours prior to your ceremony to apply for a license (Saturday and Sunday ceremonies must apply no later than 3 PM on Tuesday and pick up the license at 3 PM on Friday).  Both applicants must appear in person and bring a witness that is at least 18 years of age with them at the time of application.  You are required to make an appointment to apply for your license.  More information about the application process, including identification requirements, is available at http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/, or you may contact the Municipal Clerk at Clerk@MineHill.com or 973-366-9031 ext. 7.  In the event that Ms. Macchia is not available, please contact Deputy Registrar Katelyn Wild at ext. 6 or KWild@MineHill.com
