Swimming is NOT permitted anywhere at Sunset Lake or Township property other than the designated swimming area. Swimming in the designated swimming area is ONLY permitted with a lifeguard on duty.

Mine Hill Beach at Sunset lake membership for non-residents and rules are outlined in the link below. Mine Hill Residents need to provide proof they live in Mine Hill when going to the beach to get your complimentary access to the beach. Out of town guests of residents pay the daily rate, of $5.00 per person.

To receive your beach badges please complete the application and attach either a check or cash with the application and either mail it in or drop it off at Mine Hill Township Town Hall at 10 Baker Street, Mine Hill, NJ.
DAILY FEES Daily (1 day) beach passes are available at the beach for purchase at $5.00 per person.
The beach/snack area can only accept cash or check for purchases at this time. The Beach Staff cannot make change for bills larger than $20. Please plan accordingly when planning your trip to the Beach. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Children under 2 years old are free.
Boats must register with the Township. In order to register your boat you will need to complete the form and payment by either cash or check, and either mail or drop off the payment and application to Mine Hill Township at 10 Baker Street, Mine Hill, NJ. Kayaks and canoes do not need to register. Please note that petroleum powered motors are not permitted at Sunset Lake.

Turn at A1 Driving School onto South 1st Avenue
Proceed straight back to the “T”, approximately 1/8 mile
Turn left onto Frank Street
Keep left along the woods onto Green Road
Slowly proceed down Green Road until you arrive at Mine Hill Beach at the end of Green Road
