Township Advisory 01/06/14 3:00PM January 6, 2014 There is cause for concern that power outages may occur in the next 36 hours. Extremely high winds combined with saturated soil could combine for downed trees, causing outages. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 6 AM Wednesday. The extreme cold combined with power outages could become troublesome. The Civic Center is prepped as a warming center just in case we need it. We strongly recommend keeping your home heat up overnight just in case there is an outage. Many of us drop our heat overnight but the next 2 nights it is a good idea not to do that just in case you lose power. The warmer your house the longer you can stay if power goes out.
