Welcome to
Mine Hill Township
Morris County, New Jersey

Mine Hill’s K-12 students are served by two school districts:

K-6 students attend the award-winning Canfield Avenue School (CAS), which is run by the Mine Hill Board of Education.  CAS is a past winner of the National School of Excellence Award, and continues to be a school choice option for students from any district in NJ.  Click here to visit the Canfield School’s website.

Mine Hill students in grades 7-12 are served by the Dover School System.  7th and 8th Graders attend Dover Middle School; 9th through 12th Graders attend Dover High School.

The Dover School district is vastly underrated.  Dover High School has been awarded the US News & World Reports Silver Medal for continued positive progress in testing.  It is one of three high schools in Morris County to win this prestigious award.  Dover High School also has an alliance with the NJ Institute of Technology.  This alliance will enable our students to earn up to 28 college credits prior to graduation from Dover High School.

School Choice Options:

Morris County promotes school choice options through the State of NJ’s school choice law. Numerous school districts in Morris County offer school choice options for students K-12.
