Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic – Date Change! February 26, 2013 The state of New Jersey requires volunteer coaches to attend a “safety orientation and training skills program” in order to be eligible for civil immunity protection provided by the Little League Law (2A:62A-6 et. seq.) The curriculum for the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic is based upon theMinimum Standards for Volunteer Coaches Safety Orientation and Training Skills Programs(N.J.A.C. 5:52) and has been tested in court as having met the standards. This clinic is offered on March 13th, 6-9:30PM, at the Civic Center and is free for Mine Hill Residents or $30 for non-Residents. You must pre-register for the class by March 6, 2013 to participate.
